And I'm back
This week has been insane and it's not even done yet.
Lindsey and Amy's graduation was amazing. It was really weird because, well, I was supposed to graduate with them. It was fun, I got to see peopel I hadn't seen in years and the best English teacher I have ever had.
My gradution is next week!!!!! Waiting to see if I won anything is killing me.
I have a chemistry exam in the morning, as usual so not prepared.

Leaving...on a jet..pla..bus.
I'm heading off on the bus, to go see my best freinds graduate!
Thebus ride is going to be strange but seeing them "grow up" is so worth it. They're coming to see me graduate next week so it balances out.
I know my blog has been pretty quiet recently, I've just been swamped. Soon I'll have lots of time to blog.

When scooter and the big man bust this city in half
This Big Man died today, Clarence Clemons, Springsteen's sax player. My heart is actually crying right now.
You don't know celebrities but when they die you still feel a sense of lost. His playing was the best part of Springsteen's music after the lyrics. Their banter on stage, his hugeness. I'm going to miss him.
Springsteen can't make another album now, or tour. It just won't be the same, not with out The Big Man. Yes I know this means I'll never get t see Springsteen live.
"When the change was made uptown
And the big man joined the band
From the coastline to the city
All the little pretties raise their hands
Im gonna sit back right easy and laugh
When scooter and the big man bust this city in half
With a tenth avenue freeze-out, tenth avenue freeze-out
Tenth avenue freeze-out"
.-Tenth Avenue Freeze Out.

Boring
This blog is going to be pretty boring until Monday. I'm writing a blog about Quebec and Canada's interactions in the world. Mostly Canada but I had to pick a province so Quebec it was. You can head over there and read all about NATO and the UN and other fun stuff. It's like this blog but more boring and with out fun YouTube videos.

Superstars
I've always had this want to defend rock stars, and my generation. One such is John Lennon. I respect the Beatles they changed music so much, they're lyrics were trippy and simple. John Lennon is often thrown out of Christian circles because of the Jesus controversy.
The quote that brought the fire:
The quote that brought the fire:
"We're more popular than Jesus now; I don't know which will go first — rock and roll or Christianity."
People often quote him as saying "bigger" but he didn't he said popular. Which was true, the Beatles were one of the biggest thing to ever happen to this planet. He never said they were more powerful, had the powers of Jesus, nope just that they had more followers. I don't ever think that Christianity will ever go away, but rock and roll is starting, they just don't make music like they used to.
In response to all the hatred the Beatles got from the above quote John Lennon said,
"I suppose if I had said television was more popular than Jesus, I would have gotten away with it. I'm sorry I opened my mouth. I'm not anti-God, anti-Christ, or anti-religion. I wasn't knocking it or putting it down. I was just saying it as a fact and it's true more for England than here. I'm not saying that we're better or greater, or comparing us with Jesus Christ as a person or God as a thing or whatever it is. I just said what I said and it was wrong. Or it was taken wrong. And now it's all this."
He goes off a bit when he gets to the Jesus Christ as a person..part.
I just thought I'd voice this.

Day Twenty-five
Day 25: A recipe.
This is my go to desert, I love it so much. I make it almost every Wednesday.
We get 6 huge servings from it.
These are some of my favourite quotes from his IMDb page.
"I have never made fun of religion. Religion is something I don't even want to mess with, because I am really afraid of the clouds opening up and my being struck by lightning. Satanism is something else I don't mess with. I think that the heavy metal bands that do are playing with fire. I have never influenced people in a negative way, and I'm not about to start now.".
"He took a girl's name as his first and wears a hell of a lot of makeup. I wish I'd thought of doing that." On Marilyn Manson( who I don't like a bit, his hands are creepy).

I've decided that Alice Cooper is the coolest living person on this planet. This interview is amazing and is one of many that he has given when he has blatantly discussed his faith. ( I just particularly like this one because George is asking the questions.)These are some of my favourite quotes from his IMDb page.

Day Twenty-four
Day 24: A movie no one would expect you to love.
Remember the Titans, it's a football movie, and I;m a hockey girl. But I don't like hockey movies because I like watching hockey and they cut into on ice action too much which annoys me, I just want to watch the game.
So back to Remember the Titans, I love the music in it, and the story. It's a mixed race football team in the 1970's in the south of the US, so anti racism. Which is always a good message.
I watch football once a year, at the Super Bowl, but I really like this movie.

Day Twenty-three
Day 23: A way in which you want to be remembered.
I want to change the world in some amazing good way (because Hitler changed the world but in a horrible way) If I become a history teacher then I want to be like my history teachers who teach kids more than they need to know and enable them to see the true world.
I want to adopt, this changes the lives of kids every day. I've wanted to adopt children from Ukraine since I saw a W5 on adoptions from there when I was 11 or 12.
I want to travel.
I want to only eat whole foods from this point on. (woah tangent)
I don't want a tombstone, I find cemeteries creepy, and slightly unnecessary, and also a bit un-ecofriendly. I also don't want an urn ( though Samarah say she would like to keep be in a jar on her mantel) or a drawer in a wall.
I will though be embalmed just like Lenin if someone would like to find the Soviet secret recipe. Also a statue could also be cool, but I must be doing something epic such as diving like Bobby Orr.
As long as people remember my amazing dance skillz I am down with that.
I would also like to start a cult, based on Tang, or Jello, I like Jello.
