The Grammy's

Hey, I'm listening to the Illinois album by Sufjan Stevens.  I'm going to say it's pretty epic.
I watched the Grammy's last night, I love awards shows sooooo much.  I took notes, because I'm just that cool.
My biggest excitements were Bon Jovi's three songs YAY!  Springsteen winning, even if it was off camera, Pinks pretty insane performance, Taylor Swifts huge amount of wins, Stephen Colbert's monologue, and while Jamie Fox and Slash amd T-pain were performing with some random other people Jay-Z was doing the most amzing head bob I have seen in my entire life.  Third Day won in the "Gospel" Category.  I'm also super happy that two great Candians were honored, Leonard Cohen(cutest old man ever) and Neil young got the Music Cares award, I love Neil Young, even if he's way too involved with American Politics
My biggest angering moment was Green day winning best Rock album.  See they were against,
U2- It's U2, there's a guy names The Edge in the band, The Edge, he has a gotee, and wears a hat all the time, his name is The Edge.  Plus it's U2.
AC/DC- I don't like AC/DC in the least, but they've been around forever.
Steve Windwood and Eric Clapton-  I love them, I could listen to them sing for days..I've heard the album they were nominated for and well they deserved it.
Dave Matthews Band-  I love his voice, he himself is creepy but his music is great, the albuim title included Wiskey and some type of oddly named king.  They also deseved it.
But the Grammy goes to Green Day a 3 man Punk Pop band that sold out and didn't care.  Not Fair.
So that's what I thought of teh Grammy's.  The show was pretty great, I must say.
